Antique Early 20th Century Oak Walker & Hall Mantel Clock (Chime Key Pendulum)
This is an Antique Early 20th Century Oak Walker & Hall Mantel Clock. This clock is in excellent condition and is in full working order. It has a stunning, large oak body with a chestnut coloured finish. It has a darker and prominent grain, giving a decorative appearance. There is a mild patina, which it has acquired through time. The face is a circular, white enamel dial with black numb...ers and hands. The clock is marked: WALKER & HALL in the centre of the face and FRENCH MAKE underneath the number six. There are two winding trains. The face has a brass framed, beveled edged, convex glass casing, which is intact and is in excellent condition. The clock stands on a plinth base, which compliments it's smooth arched shape at the top and it's carved columns, which adorn each side. To the back of the clock is a brass door to the mechanism chamber. The door is intact and in excellent condition. The mechanism has been very well maintained. There is a coiled chime bar intact, which is in full working order, however it does chime 5 minutes before it should do. The mechanism is marked: JAPY FRERES MADE IN FRANCE. This clock comes complete with it's key and pendulum.
