Antique, Georgian silver ...pair-case verge chain fusee pocket watch in as-found, uncleaned condition. Requires mechanical repair. Both cases are excellent with only light scratches and a couple of small bruises. Mineral glass crystal with bull's eye. Enamel dial with chips and hairlines around bottom edge. The movement is complete and fusee chain intact but there appears to be a problem with the balance staff and/or balance. Signed J Anderton Liverpool. Numbered 7114. Both cases stamped with the case maker's mark WR for William Ryley and the Birmingham sterling silver hallmarks for 1809. Sold as-is for repair with no warranty and no return. 57 mm diameter outer case, excluding pendant and bow. No key. Please view the photos above for visual details.
