2016 Limited ZO6 With ZO7 and C7.R Packages!!! Ultra Low Miles
An amazing find! This is an amazing and fun car to drive. If you don't mind the attention or just crave the feel of a performance car at your control, this is it. When you first lay eyes on this beauty, you will notice the yellow Brembo calipers with ceramic rotors matching the yellow paint job. The hood shows a stripe of exposed carbon fiber beyond the eight vented hood piece w...ith the C7.R race skull logo. The removable top also shows "C7.R Edition" with exposed carbon. The carbon front splitter and side skirts are flawless and add that everlasting tie-in touch to this car. The rear spoiler is fully functional and adjustable up or down to be set to your exact preference. The tires are in great shape (as opposed to what many people believe, they are not worn out). They are Michelin Pilot Sports Cup 2s and are new with just enough tread to get traction. They are made to get hot fast so you have great control over the car when driving and cornering. The wheels have the C7.R yellow stripe with "ZO6" stamped into each wheel. All wheels are in great shape as are the Corvette Racing Skull Logo center caps.
Inside, you will find the look of supercars costing much more than this. The cabin is covered in suede leather with yellow stitching. Carbon fiber abounds along the dash, console and doors. The seats are Corvette Competition Seats with "C7.R Edition" on the head rests. The seat pockets are covered in carbon fiber. The inserts of the seats are alcantara leather with leather on the edges.
The seven speed (plus reverse) manual transmission shifts flawlessly via foot or paddle shifters. GM's newest screen displays all of the cars features to include two front cameras and a rear camera. Both come in handy to keep from scratching the exterior carbon. The HUD display is great to keep your eyes on the road while reading your speed, diagnostics or whichever page you choose to have it on. Below the shifter is a turn switch which enables you to toggle between wet, eco, touring, sport and track modes. I personally like the track mode because the exhaust sounds very deep.
One of the last pics shows the car cover which came with this car. I have not removed it from the box, but will do so today to cover the car in my garage. The cover looks amazing!
Picture 14 shows the lines of the 3M clear protective film. Depdning on the car and location, getting this film applied to vehicles ranges from $2500 to $6, 000. My detail guy charges $3500 for C7 Corvettes and that does not include and paint correction. This car already has the film over the entire car so you don't have to spend the money to have it done.
If you don't know much about C&.R Editions, here is a bit....GM only made 650 of these cars, 500 of which were for the US market. They were only delivered in black or orange as no other color options are available. Each C7.R has its unique sequential VIN number and this is car #377. The MSRP (original sticker in pics) was $112, 395, but were actually selling in the $115k range with a year wait for delivery. The C7.R package to this ZO6 line added $23, 055 to the base ZO6 price of $79, 400. The Z06 and Corvette Racing’s C7.R share a development history that started with the C5 Corvette generation and both cars has been refined through technology transfer from street car to race car and back to street car during the C6 generation. It’s safe to say that neither the Z06 or the C7.R would exist without the other. Both Corvettes were introduced together last year at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit and since its rollout to customers started in late 2014, the production Corvette Z06 has had its largest rollout ever with over 8, 000 made during the 2015 model year. The last time Chevrolet paid its respects to the Corvette Racing team was in 2009 with the GT1 Championship Editions. Offered in Black or Yellow, these Corvettes were a hit with buyers and today they are one of the most collected models from the C6 Corvette era. With the new Z06 C7.R package, Chevrolet is again showing its respect for the factory racer with an new appearance package that will make this car one of the star attractions at any Corvette Corral on the TUDOR United Sportscar Championship series. All C7.R editions include the Z07 Performance Package and will be offered in both Coupe and Convertible Z06 configurations. The special edition comes only in 3LZ Trim and buyers will be able to select the exterior in Corvette Racing Yellow or Black. The 500 units will all come with their own unique sequential VIN to insure collectibility in the future. A new graphics package features Corvette Racing’s mascot “Jake” on the hood of the car. Under the Jake graphic is the new B92 hood which features visible carbon fiber weave on the island or stinger area of the hood. A graphic on the hood in a matte silver proclaims the car as the C7.R Edition and that racing stripe is carried to the rear of the car where it terminates at the rear spoiler. The exterior of the car also features the visible carbon fiber ground effects package, black wheels with a yellow accent stripe and yellow brake calipers. The grilles and vents are finished in Spectra Gray Metallic. Inside the C7.R limited edition package you will find a Jet Black leather interior with sueded microfiber accents and yellow stitching, a high gloss version of the Carbon Fiber interior trim package and Competition Sport seats with sueded microfiber steering wheel and shifter. The C7.R logo is both embossed and embroidered into the seat backs and the word “Edition” is laser-etched into the seat – a first time use of the laser etching process on a Corvette. The C7.R edition comes with Corvette Racing sill plates and a numbered C7.R Edition dash plaque features the number of class wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans (7) as well as the number of Championships won by the Corvette Racing team (10). A Carfax check shows this car was purchased in Norman, Oklahoma. It also shows a rear hit and repair in Norman. The Carfax says it needed to be towed, but most cars with any damage are towed so don't let that discourage you from owning this beauty. There is a slight color difference between the rear bumper and rear hatch compared to the rest of the car. It is very hard to notice, but I wanted to point it out so you are aware. The car has been driven almost 2, 000 miles since the repair and there is no negative feel or effects I have noticed. You are more than welcome and encouraged to send out an inspector, pay a dealer to have it inspected, or come see it for yourself and drive it home. I will be happy to pick you up at the local DFW airport. The title is clean and clear. I have a Texas dealer license although I do not sell cars as a job or means to support myself.
