A rare 925 silver and 18k gold plate vintage Danish brooch of good size that has the suspension loops for conversion to a pendant on a necklace.
This individual piece was designed by Robert Jonni Bendt, after a design by Picasso as jewellery for his lover Dora Maar.
What makes this special also, for the Collector is that R.J. Bendt is recorded working in Skanderborg for just three years - 1982 to 1985.
R.J. Bendt is more known for his solid gold necklaces and other jewell...ery, and don't turn up often.
It measures 7cm tall by 4.5cm wide. Weighs just under 26 grams.
Very good condition with very minimal wear for a used piece - obviously very much valued and cared for. The pin operates properly, not bent, the loops for a chain are secure.
