Up for sale is this cool set of four Andy Warhol snack /appetizer plates. Overall great used condition with very slight scratches consistent with light use. However, the orange plate does have a couple of small more visible scratches, see pics.
These 5.25-inch diameter plates are made of durable melamine manufactured by Precidio, originally sold at CB2, Modern furniture and home décor store (Crate & Barrels sister store), From 2009, I believe. NOT MICROWAVABLE. On the bott...om side, the plates are imprinted with "™The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Inc." and Warhol's signature.
Plates feature photo prints of Andy Warhol in sunglasses, each with different Warhol quotes:
Green plate: "i think everybody should like everybody."
Yellow plate: "art is what you can get away with."
Orange plate: "the world fascinates me."
Blue plate: "in the future everybody will be world famous for fifteen minutes."
