For your consideration is a WW II Army reversible ski parka. This is the second pattern which was adopted in July of 1942. It features a slip over design with a fur edged hood which is reversible from green to white. This one has seen some hard use (see pictures for details). It is in good overall condition but the white side has heavy soiling and staining. There is a tear at the right shoulder and the seam at center of the hood is opened and its missing some fu...r in that location. There is also a seam opening and fraying at the bottom draw sting. I can’t find a size tag in it so here’s what I measured. Outside seam of shoulder to outside seam of shoulder 21”, armpit to bottom of a sleeve 23.5”, arm pit to arm pit across chest 19.5”, top of the collar to bottom hem 34”. Wartime photos show these being worn mainly in Italy by units like the 10th Mountain Division and First Special Service Force.
