Two Vintage Advertising Mugs - Matching Little Orphan Annies - Ovaltine - 1940 ' S

These are two great pieces of advertising memorabilia. The mugs are a creamy ivory with great graphics and green accents. The fronts of the mugs show Little Orphan Annie with her mug full of Ovaltine. The backs show her dog, Sandy, racing for his own Ovaltine. The bottoms say "Manufactured Exclusively for The Wander Co., Chicago, Makers Of Ovaltine". The graphics are completely intact, but the the green stripes around the top edges show some wear - this was typically the fi...rst to go. The finish is shiny and bright. There are no cracks and no crazing. There is one small chip on one of the mugs along the bottom edge (see photo). These little mugs measure 3" tall x 4" across (including the handle). These are great collector pieces in any advertising collection.
