Original 1950s Johnson Seahorse 25 horse outboard motor, model RD-16. Includes original Johnson 6 gallon gas tank. One owner. Last used in 1974. Stored inside and covered since that year. Great overall condition. Mechanically sound and intact. I did not notice any evidence of leaks, etc. Has typical wear and tear you would expect from use over the years. Beautiful display piece as is or refurbish for use as needed. Compression... is good, pull rope works, dials / knobs turn freely. Was originally on a 16 foot wood runabout boat which was kept by the family. Tank is in similar / good condition. Has signs of use typical with the age. Gas lines are likely original and are dry-rotted. Overall a great Johnson Seahorse motor and tank combination. The motor and tank both show scuffs, marks, dust, oil, etc as shown.
