This sword will be only listed this one time this is your opportunity to own this, VERY RARE PRESENTATION VINTAGE CIVIL WAR SWORD 1861! The history behind the sword sword:Stephen R SwettCaptain 1st New Hampshire Cavalry from Andover. App Capt October 15, 1861 App. Major August 8 1862.This word was reassigned April 7, 1863 and served in the battle front Royal Virginia Cedar Mountain Virginia Mountville Virginia and Kelly’s Ford Virginia.
This sword was presented to Stephen R Swett... Captain of the 2nd Co. 1st cavalry of NH by the members of King Soloman Lodge NO 14 Fam on November 13, 1861 at the top. The ( all seeing eye) and the Square Cumpis of Masons He carried this in battle four times. This is an extremely rare find and may be your only time to own. All of this information can be seen and researched from the markings on the sword it is on public record.
