This is the Vintage 1966 Fender USA Showman Blackface AB763 Electric Guitar Amplifier Head.
The chassis code and pots date to 1966.
This amp is a very special piece.
4 6L6's bring 85w of power to the table.
The point to point wiring and all tube circuit means one thing- exceptional tone.
Channe...l one features Volume, Bass, Treble, and a Bright switch.
This enables you to achieve everything from crystal Fender cleans to warm jazz comps to pushed tube overdrive tones.
The Vibrato channel offers controls for Volume, Bass, Middle, Treble, Bright, and, of course, vibrato.
The vibrato is nice & tight- requires the RCA footswitch to turn on (not included- tested with shop footswitch).
This amplifier is in good overall condition- typical marks from age and normal use, and the power cable was replaced with a 3 prong.
This Showman has been tested and works as it should.
