Vintage Waverly Guitar Tuners 1920s Open Gear Plate Set Regal National Stella
This is a set of plate mounted 3+3 tuning gears for guitar. They are of the early design with the worm gear under the wheel gear. The plates are nickel plated. The buttons are original black plastic. These are designed for slotted peghead guitars. The plates are not marked, but they are consistent with Waverly machines from about 1900 to 1930.
Check the photos to see the the excell...ent condition. There is light wear to the plating on the gears, but no serious corrosion.
