Each is important to the proper operation of your system.Features include separate Bass and Treble step type tone controls for each channel. The controls are completely out of the circuit when in the flat position to eliminate phase shift and transient distortion inherent in all tone controls. Special treble cut contains scratch filter for sharp roll-off without ringing.Each amplification stage is flat over an extremely wide range and is surrounded with a feedback loop, resulting in unmeasurable distortion and phase shift.All operating controls arranged in logical grouping to facilitate operation.  Condition: I do not have the proper equipment to test a tube pre-amp and do not want to risk applying power to a 60 year old unit.  Previous units that I acquired from the same audiophile collection have proven to be in very good condition.  He did not own junk.  But due to age and this being a piece of vintage electronic equipment, item is sold as-is with no warranty.
