Vintage Marantz 2270 Receiver. This receiver works and cosmetically is pretty nice but will need some attention so please read details. It appears very dusty inside and the contacts are probably very dirty. The left meter light will sometimes work and sometimes not. The contact on the tape source button is dirty and when moving it you can get one channel to cut in and out. But it is just the contact not the actual amplifier. It looks like 2 of the lights are ou...t on the tuner display. It does not have the factory main preamp jumpers. Just rca cable. The power button has acted up where when you push it in the receiver does not power down. However the button seems to be working just fine now. All the issues seem to be related to dirty contacts. If you don’t plan on addressing them yourself or having it serviced this is probably not the receiver for you. It is being sold “as is” for repair and restoration but it is functioning. After shipping that may jiggle things around and could cause a contact to act up but i have mentioned all the things I am aware of. Please add $45.00 for shipping and insurance.
