1886 Cambrian Lines Receipt, Steamship " Argosy " Of Swansea, 6d Revenue

This is a receipt for shipping "One thousand one hundred and sixty four boxes tinplates" on the Cambrian Line steamship "Argosy" from Swansea to Philadelphia. It's dated June 21st, 1886. There's a nice illustration of one of their ships with an orange, embossed 6d revenue stamp alongside. The back is blank.
At one point the document was folded into quarters so there are three creases. Two are hardly noticeable but one does show some slight soiling. Unfortunately, this crease run...s through the most interesting part of the receipt, but it is subtle enough that it doesn't much detract from the overall piece. It will still display beautifully.
The document will be shipped well protected against weather and rough handling. Buy with confidence.
