OBJECT// Antique Chinese very beautiful complex display stand for a carved object, this piece is a work of art in its own right and very beautiful to handle, the object depicts crashing waves, the carver has gone to huge depths to capture the movement and detail, everywhere one looks we see new details and features, very much a scholars taste object, dating from the mid 19th century, Qing Dynasty, fine piece full of intricate detail, superb colour and patina, serious collectors object.
