Antique Franklinware USA 57SX264 Vegetable Bowl Soup Tureen w/Lid 22k Gold RARE! Circa 1940s. Backstamp: Ivory, Franklinware 57SX264 Warranted 22K Gold Made in U.S.A. This antique Franklinware Vegetable Bowl or Soup Tureen has two handles and a lid. It is Ivory and the pattern is called Filigree#57X-S264. The pattern features a floral design with pink, blue and red flowers on a cream background that is shaped like a six petal daisy. The pattern is topped off with an elaborate wide flor...al design drawn in warranted 22 karat gold. The colorful, floral daisy design decorates the top of the lid and one side of the bowl’s inner wall. The wide gold band of flowers surrounds the floral daisy on the lid, and encircles the outer rim of the bowl. The tureen measures approximately 7” tall with lid & 4” without lid x 10” long x 8” wide.There is a crack on one side of the bowl. That crack is stained darker on the inside, than the outside. I have posted closeup photos of both sides. There is wearing on the gold on the handles. The lid has tiny cracks on the inner lip, a small crack on the lid; there are closeups of both. There are stains along the rim of the bowl and the lid. Please see and enlarge all photos. I take multiple pictures from various angles so that you can see what you are purchasing.
