Relisted due to non-paying bidder, Second chance to own a great bike!The two stroke Kawasaki KDX200 is considered one of the best Enduro Trail bikes ever made. Jeff Federette raced the KDX200 (and later the 220) in the ISDT/ISDE 22 times from 1983 to 2006, finishing every one. That finishing record has never been matched by any other bike.
The 87 has an air cooled KIPS equipped engine with good power and low end. The bike was restored s...everal years ago and has been kept inside on display. The bike was completely broken down and built from the ground up. It is unmodified completely stock bike including the original exhaust and kick stand (missing on almost all KDXs). Engine was completely rebuilt with new bearings, seals, gaskets, piston, rings, clutch, etc. Shock and Forks were also rebuilt with new seals and fluid. Tires are new. Bike runs great and is a blast to ride.
Very difficult to find the 80s air cooled bikes and extremely difficult to find one in this condition. Would make a nice addition to a Kawasaki collection. Please look at the pictures carefully and ask questions. I am open to offers. $500.00 will be due via PayPal at the end of the auction. Remainder is due within a week. If you need me to store the bike until pick up just ask. I do not ship, I will work with your transportation company to make sure the bike is loaded correctly and I will send you pictures of how it was loaded.
