The above record grading is based onRecord Collector magazine’s system (I do not use NM – EX+ is my highest gradingfor unsealed records):Mint (M) SealedExcellent + (EX+)The record / sleeve should bein perfect condition.Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packagingmight have slight wear and / or creasing.Very Good (VG) / Very Good + (VG+) Therecord has obviously been played many times, but displays no majordeterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and theoccasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.Good (G) / Good + (G+) The record has been played so much that the soundquality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion andscratches.
