2003 Chevrolet Silverado LT Extended Cab 4x4 5.3 Liter with Quadrasteer RARE. This is a ONE OWNER truck that was always parked in a garage. This is my Father-In-Laws Silverado. He purchased it new. The truck is a 5.3 liter aut...omatic 4-wheel drive with Quadrasteer. The Quadrasteer option was very expensive when these truck were new and very few people opted for that option. The Quadrasteer allows the truck to have a turning radius that is the same as a regular passenger car which makes it very easy to park (which was the reason that my Father-In-Law choose the option.) In addition to great parking, the Quadrasteer option makes this truck SUPER GREAT for trailering. You can back up a trailer much easier than with a conventional truck.
The truck also benefits from a stiffer suspension than a normal 1500. It rides in between a 1500 and a 2500 which gives is another advantage for trailering. Along with the Quadrasteer it has 6 lug wheels and the heavy duty brakes. The brakes make this truck excellent for towing compared to the regular 1500 (that was significantly under-braked from the factory (I owned a 2002 Silverado, and trailering was not fun when you needed to brake.))
The condition of the truck is as follows:
Interior : The interior is close to new with the exception of the driver's seat. This was his personal truck and very rarely did he carry passengers, so the passenger seat leather and rear seat leather is as close as you could get to new for a 135, 000 mile truck. The driver's seat does have some wear. You can see the rest of the cab shows very little wear such as all of the door panels, dash, console, seat belts.
Exterior : This truck is a single owner truck, purchased new here in Michigan. The bed is steel on the inside and composite on the outer bed, so there is ZERO rust on the exterior of the bed because it is not steel. There is some rust on the lower front fenders behind the front wheels and on the rocker panels. There is also some rust on the front bumper and slight surface rust on the rear bumper in the center. The above mentioned rust, while always garaged is expected for a truck that spent its life in Michigan. The hood does not have any rust on the seams. The bottom of the cab doors also do not have rust on the sheet metal seams.
This truck drives great, tires are fairly new, so they still have significant tread left.
If you do a lot of towing and don't want to spend the big money on a new Diesel, this truck is a great alternative with the suspension, brake package, and most importantly Quadrasteer.
I do not know what a Quadrasteer 1500 Silverado will fetch on the market because there are so few that I can find for sale.

This truck WILL SELL as I will be adjusting the price down every couple of days until it sells. So if you think it is priced too high, keep watching because it will hit the market value as I lower the price. As I move the price down, it may cover multiple listings, so if it does not sell, it will be relisted at the same or lower price.

The AutoCheck report indicates one accident, but my Father-In-Law (passed away last year) never mentioned anything about that and I know that he never sent it out for any body work, so I am guessing that it was a bumper tap type incident.
