Being offered for your consideration is a Cook County, Illinois, Sheriff Richard B. Ogilvie Junior Posse Kids Toy Badge. This was a recent garage sale find. It measure about around 1-7/8” wide x 2” tall. The badge has very small print on the back that says " The C. H. Hanson -CO- Chicago“. It is in good used condition, I have not attempted any polishing on it. Please view photos for overall condition. This will make a nice addition to any Cook County, Chicago, Illinois memorabili...a collection. Thanks for looking..Info found online:Richard Ogilvie was Sheriff in Cook County (Chicago Illinois) from 1962-1967 and then went on to become the 35th Governor of Illinois from 1969 to 1973. He was known as the Mafia Fighting Sheriff.
