Versatile, hard wearing andstrong, giving excellent support for puppet movement. It has ball and socketjoints for fluid movement and it is based on human dimensions and is anatomicallycorrect. Ideal for students or tight budget productions, this armature ispric...ed accordingly.
The armatures are sent pre-assembled and ready to use.
Made from steel 4mm threaded zinc-ed rods, steel compression plates, 304stainless steel threaded non-magnetic balls and brass centre joins and jointstop components, these armatures can withstand constant precise movement overlong durations and can be re-used time and time again. The joint platesare 1.8mm thick, 30mm long, 9mm wide, the holes at each end are 5mm diameterand the centre hole is 2.5mm diameter.
The ball joints are made from 8mm steel non-magnetic balls with an internalthreaded hole for 4mm threaded rods. The armature has 4mm threaded domenuts in the toe of the feet for tie-downs and elbows and knees are single jointmovements.
The centre rod has an additional brass collar just below the chest with a 4mmthreaded hole, which can be used with a rig for flying/lifting puppet off theground.
This human armature stands at approx 8 inches high and comes pre-assembled with M4(4mm) tie down rod and wing nut included. The animal stands approx 3-4 inches tall to the head. Customer Reviews:
