Original Art Deco period 18ct Rose Gold flowerhead Earrings with sprung leverback fittings for pierced ears.
These are a good-sized pair of stylised symmetrical flowers, approx. 15 x 12 mm, ( 5/8" x 1/2") set with 2mm diameter deep old-cut Diamonds and a tiny 1mm faceted Ruby highlight.
The five heart-shaped petals are plain polished and contoured into a shallow dish which increases their reflectivity finished by a 2mm fluted edge.
The small Diamonds are estim...ated around 0.1 each and are surprisingly noticeable and luminous in their raised claw settings as the focal point of the attractive design.
Hallmarks are very worn - only trace outline of original 18ct mark and makers initials.Approx. weight almost 2 grams.
Curvaceous Flower is both simple yet intriguing, it does not correspond exactly to a pansy or wildrose, with a wonderful antique rose gold colour.
Will be posted in a new mini craft storage box for a safe journey.
