This is a very unique two point locking system. They were used in Government buildings, especially schools, to secure expensive equipment. They were usual fitted to thick steel clad doors. The locking system is unique in that the cylinder is free turning until the key is inserted and then and only then can the bars be retracted to open the door. These were very well made and build to last. The key works fine and there are duplicate key blanks. There is hardware for both inward and outw...ard opening doors. This unit was purchased in Australia in the mid 80's and has been in storage since then. Please examine the photos closely and ask if you have any questions.
