BACHMANN HO SCALE 66701 PENNSYLVANIA EMD E - 7 DCC READY DIESEL LOCO, LIT & BOX

Up for auction is a Bachmann HO scale # 66701 Pennsylvania Railroad EMD E7 diesel locomotive that is DCC ready with an NMRA 8 pin plug that I believe is in the wrong box. I am not sure about the story behind why I am offering this locomotive. It was left on the eBay desk for me with no explanation as to why it was to be offered on eBay. However, it may be because the boxes have been switched. The box is for a single stripe locomotive but as you can see this is the 5 stripe versio...n that carries a different catalog number and also a different locomotive number. The number for the catalog unit number as been scribbled out and the actual number on the unit, # 5881 is been inked in. I examined it closely and it does not appear to have been run until I tested it as you can see by looking at the photo showing the bottom of the loco. I gave it a brief test and found it performs flawlessly so I would say that other than my test it has not been run. It really is a great looking and running locomotive.

If you are a Pennsylvania business and have an exemption certificate you must contact me directly before the close of the auction to make arrangements to place your exemption certificate on file.
