Vintage 1963 Iskendarian 505 Magnum NHRA Indy Nationals T-Shirt Up for your 'buy it now' consideration, ladies and gents, is this smokin' old and super rare true vintage 1963 Isky 505 Magnum NHRA Indy Nationals souvenir t-shirt. This is not some recent cheesey corporate reproduction. It's guaranteed to be the real vintage deal from 1963! This was the era in the N.H.R.A. when the super stock classes drew t...he most fan interest. Dyno Don Nichelson, the Ram Chargers and Tom Grove's Melrose Missile, were just a few of the super stock stars during the early to mid 60's era. How old and rare is a genuine true vintage 1963 drag racing shirt, you might ask? Well, J.F.K. was still alive, the Beatles were unheard of in the USA and a gallon of Sunoco 260 gasoline was $.32 a gallon. Condition is good considering its age. This shirt has one very small hole 2" to the bottom right of the 'M' in magnum. It could be patched up very easily if you so desired. Looks like there is some faded motor oil stains on the bottom of the front and a few spots near the neck line (see photos). The back of the shirt is in very good condition with just a few small marks here and there (see photos). Both screen prints are in very good condition, considering their age, with no issues. This shirt is a rare collector's item which is almost 56 years old. My husband picked it up at a flea market 20 years ago and hasn't seen another one since. This would make a great addition to any drag racer's garage wall, behind a bar or to add to his vintage drag racing collection. Feels like thin 100% cotton. Please measure a shirt of your own to ensure a proper fit.
