Up for sale is a McIntosh MA6100, later model with the load impedance switch. The cosmetic condition of this unit is excellent no rust, no cracked or webbed glass. All front panel lights working but was never very bright, this is typical of older McIntosh units. It has just been serviced and remains in the factory McIntosh double carton for shipment to a new home. See all pictures for the beautiful condition of this unit. The operational manual is included.
SERVICING NOTES: McIn...tosh MA6100 fresh in from servicing by Atlantic Systems Electronics. A new transistor, alignment and bad solder connections were repaired. I was advised that the unit was received by them with the phono cap protections covers slightly bent but in no way effectors the functionality of the phono system. No picture available of the bent plugs as the unit remains in the McIntosh factory cartons after servicing. Suggested other repair was a new remote speaker switch not working (switch no longer available). Other than that, the unit is fully functional and operational.
PLEASE NOTE: This amplifier should be purchased with the understanding that it is 40 years old. Although recently serviced and in operating condition, there is no telling how long it will operate trouble free before a component fails. Therefore, it comes with no guarantee and is sold as is.
