I'm having a little trouble letting go of this MR-78, but I've been having GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) and I'm selling this to fund another purchase.
Among other things, I'm a certified senior audio tech. I replaced a defective germanium diode that was keeping the signal strength meter from working. It's fine now. The whole tuner is working absolutely fine. There is not a lot else to say; after all, it's a McIntosh, with ...the usual McIntosh smooth and clean sound.
I don't intent to ship this tuner. The glass front panel on Mac gear has been know to get broken in shipment. This tuner is completely free of damage and I'd like it to stay that way, so I will have it professionally packed by FedEx. I'm listing the shipping as a flat $125.00 to cover the cost of packing, shipping, and insurance, but I will refund to you any excess left over.
I will list The tuner as not returnable, but you may still return it if not as described and pictured. Thanks for looking!
