Original Description:
Here is a great cast iron bank called "SHELLOUT". This is a great example of this bank. Made by the J & E Stevens Co about 1882 per "The Penny Bank Book". It is rated a 'D' which means they are hard to find and this one has great paint and the trap, which is usually missing. This bank measures 2-1/2" x 4-3/4".  Book values it at $750 but I'm not asking that. 
 No breaks, cracks or repairs on this piece.
