I am offering this Bachmann #00628 HO scale steam locomotivewith 3 passenger cars from the 1830’s. It was affectionately known as the “One Armed Billey” after William “Bill”Norris, owner of the B&O RR at the time. This item was originally part of a complete set from around 2004; butwas separated. I do have the 2 originalprotective Styrofoam cases and a partial copy (dated 10/24/2004) of a page froma Bachmann catalog describing the set.I obtained the loco a...nd cars at auction, so I don’t knowtheir history. They are dusty and showsome rail time. I see no apparent flaws;however, the original owner may have added a “chair” to the roof on the frontof 1 of the cars (see Note). The greencolor matches perfectly. The chair looksa little off center, is a little bit loose, and could probably be removed. NOTE: There is a factory cut-out in the Styrofoam case for the chair; but, Ihave not seen a chair on any other advertised/pictured set.I tested the loco on a short test track. It ran F&R with some hesitancy; but, improved the more I ran it. I added a dropof oil on the white plastic gear underneath and it improved even more. It probably has been in storage a while.Checkout my other listings by clicking on See other items.
