This auction is for one new old stock matched pair of Western Electric 417A / 5842 vacuum tubes in original boxes as shown. These both have black plates, square getters, and the same 1955 date (552). The boxes have January 1956 dates , which makes sense for tubes made in the last quarter of 1955. These were tested on our computerized cardmatic tester with identical results of results differing by just 2mA.
