I am the Salieri of home projects.
I desperately want to be the person who goes to a yardsale, picks up a piece of non-functioning vintage equipment, and restores it to its former glory.
I have the picking-up-at-yardsale portion down pat. As for repairs, I am all thumbs and have no idea what I am doing.
How shocked I was when I got this record player home. The player was caked in dust but sounded fantastic. That is the extend of my refurbishing s...ervices. I cleaned the dust off, and it works.
The school system that formerly owned the unit wrote their name and an ID number in sharpie on both the top of the player and the exterior cover.
