Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for a Sansui 881. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild the Sansui 881 driver board, preamp board, phono EQ board, power supply board, and tuner board, as well as drop-in replacements for the two main capacitors. This does not include output transistors, lights, or fuses. If you need new output transistors, the correct replacements are MJ21194G and are available here. Many Sansui 881s suffer from a backgr...ound hum, and this kit will usually solve that issue. This kit includes the following:

6 capacitors (Panasonic FC, Nichicon Muse, Wima film)8 diodes (Fairchild/Onsemi)

These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. These are not cheap Made in China parts, they are extremely high-quality and they are what I use when I rebuild Sansui equipment. The transistors are the correct subs for the originals, and the capacitors are the same capacitance (uf) and the same or higher voltage. The chassis-mount capacitors go up substantially on voltage in order to fit the clamps perfectly.
I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but rebuilding a receiver is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron and a dim-bulb tester with 100W incandescent bulb. This kit may not fix your Sansui, but it's pretty likely that it will, and it will definitely help it run better. If you have a background crackle or hum, this will probably take care of it.
