Very similar to the PMD430 (that is a three head unit, whereas the PMD420 I am selling is a two head unit). The item is in A+ cosmetic condition, and full working order. Playback of cassettes AND recording of cassettes is functional. I believe it could use a service as occasionally, a tape will not play back UNLESS you hold down fast forward for a second or two, then, the audio plays back just fine. No other issues have been noted. Also, no power adaptor is included. I use batteri...es—that for me—last for several months of frequent use. It is possible to buy after market power supply on eBay, and additionally, I will also include an extra set of batteries to get you started.
