These pieces are a work of art. They are a series of lovely lace and embroidered works by a master craftsman for sure. The styles include point de paris, embroidered batiste, valenciennes, and french netting. This style is from the region of Normandy and these pieces, especially in this shape, are just about extinct. There are very few little darkened dots (the worst one which is small pictured last frame) no tears- but one little thin spots- these are in fabulous - fabulous condition.... Measuring approx. 100" x 70" and could be used as a veil and or train even in a wedding gown. THAT is how lovely these truly are.
