Up for sale here is this beautiful NOS NIB RCA 5Y3GT black-plate rectifier vacuum tube. This has a K2E date code, for March/April 1943. This is in the original box, but the box's top flap is hanging by a thread and will probably come off when you open it.
I tested it on my B&K 747B tube tester, and it pegged the meter at 120/120, with no shorts or grid emission, on a scale of 0-120, where 65 is minimum good. This does have a very slightly loose base, but you pr...obably won't even notice it, and it won't affect operation. It's incredibly rare to find NOS NIB tubes this old, especially non-military tubes.
