This mid-to-late 1980's Hamlin cable TV converter box model CRX-5000-3M has push-button controls, retro red LED digital display, and classic faux walnut metal encasement. The box missing the channel "up" button (see photos), but is otherwise in very good cosmetic condition. These units were owned by the cable company, but became popular descrambler units for "free cable" in the late-80s and early-90s. Lighted display works, and you can adjust channel by using the "down" button, but uni...t is otherwise untested. Encasement measures 9" x 8" x 2.75".
