Up for auction is a beautiful Lionel Postwar # 2379 RIO GRANDE F-3 AB LOCOMOTIVE IN THE ORIGINAL BOXES.
All Units are in LIKE NEW condition. The paint is very nice with nice patina, the graphics are very nice and clearly legible. The RIO GRANDE lettering is beautiful.
The powered 2379 Unit is very nice with NO rust or battery damage. It has been run but not abused. The paint is bright and consistent throughout. The silver roof is beautiful with vibrant color. The unit is very cle...an and bright. It is all original. The nose decal is near perfect.
The 2379B Unit is in great shape with nice crisp lettering. No major rubs on the roof vents.
It runs well, the horn has not been tested. Boxes are ORIGINAL with great graphics. The A Unit box is C-8 and the B Unit box is C-8 also. It also comes with a crisp original instruction sheet. This is a tough AB set to find in this condition, please bid accordingly.
