Original Description:
This auction is for a Vintage Prewar Ives Standard Gauge No.3243R Light Green NYC 4-4-4 S-Type Electric Engine. It was made between 1926 and 1928. The green shell has been professionally repainted many years ago. The black paint on the die-cast frame is original with a couple minute touch ups on the rivets on the top of the pony trucks that are hard to detect. It is in Excellent condition and it is complete except for the auto revers unit that has been removed so it only runs forward. ...It has been track tested on a layout and it runs and tracks great and the 2 headlights work. It is all metal and it has the high type cast iron frame and it measures 16-1/2" long not counting the couplers. See Detailed Description For Additional Pictures.NO RESERVE.
