K - Line By Lionel Pennsylvania K - 4 1361 W/TMCC K3380 - 1361CC
Item History & Price
Up for sale is my K-Line (by Lionel) Pennsylvania RR K-4 #1361 w/TMCC. Condition is "Used", but I bought this a few years ago and never ran it, as I no longer have TMCC capabilities. Conventional operation doesn’t do this loco justice... it’s a beast! The original modern model of the K-4, pre-Legacy era, with electrocouplers, constant voltage headlight, extra dummy o-gauge coupler can replace the scale drop-down coupler for double-heading, RailSounds, K-Line Cruise, and (the best f...eature) operates on an O-31 minimum curve! Though it does look awkward going around that tight of a bend, it’ll make it! A great looking/sounding/performing loco for a layout with space restrictions... an option would be to check the OGR forum and mod/upgrade this beauty with the ERR packages by 3rd Rail... any way you go, you’ll want this one in your collection, even if for the historical significance! Place this engine on your “horseshoe curve” and enjoy the nostalgia!
A slight disclaimer: I pictured it to the best of my ability, but one of the grab-irons on the right side of the front of the boiler is missing... it has been this way since I owned the loco, but looks like it would be no big job to find the right gauge wire, paint it black, and bend it into place. So this engine isn’t “mint”, but in all other respects it’s in pristine condition. Even the pickup rollers don’t show much use!Feel free to ask any questions, as all sales are final!
