Omnikey 102 Gold Badge BLUE ALPS!
From what I've heard from friends in the mechanical keyboard community, this is a very rare model of Omnikey and probably one of the most sought after alps keyboards in the market. The previous one in great condition was sold for $750.
I did a quick research on YouTube and found a YouTuber named "Chyrosran22" who described this keyboard as the following: "Blue alps in a Northgate tank -- the best alps switch in the best alps chassis!" This is als...o known to be an early version of Omnikeys, which "feels and sounds better than the later Omnikeys."
Based on my limited research on the Internet, the cable retaining clips usually come broken, but they are all intact on this one.
The overall cosmetic condition is amazing as shown in the pictures, with only slight yellowing which can be easily dealt with through retrobright or simply kept as is to showcase its age and history.
This keyboard was bought from an estate sale. The cable is in bad condition as the picture shown. This keyboard is sold for parts or non-working because I do not have an adapter and thus cannot test it. I'll make sure to pack it nice and tight for shipment as I understand it is an very expensive item. Whether you're a vintage keyboard collector or an expert on keyboard restoration, you don't want to miss this one, which doesn't appear on eBay very often.
