RARE Vintage Compaq III Computer - And With Software And Manuals

Offered here is a  RARE vintage Compaq III portable computer.  This is an excellent example of this very early IBM compatible computer.  It includes original disks, manuals and carrying case.  I powered it up and it boots fine. This one has the optional modem and Hard drive, also working fine.  These machines were unique as they had a plasma screen.   I was able to load software without issue.  Keyboard seems to work fine.  Screen is nice.&n...bsp; The only real flaw I see is that the plastic is coming off the keyboard cable in places.  A common issue with these machines.  It just dries up and gets brittle with age. Exceptionally nice used example and seldom offered with manuals, software and case.  Nice addition to any vintage computer collection.  These machines are getting hard to find in working condition.  Sold "as is"  "Parts or Repair" due to age of electronics and no returns.  I will not warranty machines this old but if it arrives physically damaged, it will be fully insured.  After all it is over 40 years old.  Buyer pays shipping.  Thanks for looking..  I ship worldwide but shipping overseas will be very expensive.  Maybe 2-300.  Shipping is estimated.  Please check out my other listings.
