Commodore 64 System W/box, 1541 Floppy Drive, 1702 Display & More

Refurbished Commodore 64 system, with 1541 drive, 1702 display & joystick.
Offered here is beautiful, ready to go (turn-key), fully functional, refurbished, Commodore 64 system, which includes a boxed Commodore 64 computer with the User Guide book, and power supply (missing Styrofoam supports), a 1541 floppy disk drive, (no box or paperwork) with power and data cables, and a Commodore 1702 composite display monitor (no box or paperwork), with A/V and power cables. The se...rial number on the computer matches the one on the box, further more, all three components have been refurbished - the read/write head on the 1541 drive was cleaned, and checked for alignment, and the motor speed was adjusted per specs. The keyboard on the C64 itself was taken apart, all contacts cleaned, then fully tested. The controls pots on the 1702 display were cleaned, and solder on PCB was re-flowed. I booted (as you can see in the pictures), and played several games for a couple of hours, reverting back to my childhood, all three components performed flawlessly. Please note, there's NO software included with this system. Further more, ignorethe black joystick in the pictures, a different model will be included.....should havetested it BEFORE taking pictures. The cases on both C64 & 1541 are in excellent shape, I found NO cracks or broken bits. The 1541 color is mostly uniform, with no noticeable yellowing, but the C64 case has yellowed a bit - it's hard to see in the pictures, because I couldn't get thelighting quite right. The 1702 display is in excellent physical shape, it DOES include the (usually absent) front knob compartment door, and works just fine. It's hard to see in the pictures, but the display is vivid, steady, and crisp. The distortions and poor image quality you see in the pictures, is caused by poor lighting, and the sync difference between the camera I used, and the monitor itself.The C64 box is not exactly in great shape, but it's complete, and in one piece, If I had to rate it, I would say it's about a 5 or a 6 (as 10 being perfect). Themost prominent flaw is brown packing tape on the edges and corners of the box. The box also has a couple of rough corners, and scuffs/scratches all over, It is (as stated above) missing the Polystyrene supports for the C64 itself, but DOES have the inner box, which holds the power supply.Please note, this system is roughly 35 years, and because of its advanced age, it's being offered here AS IS, with no exchange or return. I'll guarantee it will not be DOA, however, I can not guarantee continuous/smooth functionality in the future. Please make sure you are clear on that, before placing a bid.

Theshipping cost to Alaska, Hawaii, or other US territories outside of the mainland, will be calculated based on the buyer's shipping address. The same applies for international customers - the cost will be calculated based on the buyer's shipping address. Please be aware, that this item will most likely be expensive to ship over seas.
