Apple Macintosh PowerBook Duo 280c vintage Mac laptop for parts or repair.
DOES NOT BOOT UP. When it powers on, it makes a repeating noise like some kind of space fantasy laser gun. I think that's the hard drive trying to spin up, and failing. Screen lights up and blinks a question mark, and cursor moves. That's as far as I can get with testing.
The battery's slider is broken. Pieces will be included. I am certain that the battery holds NO charge anymore.
Residue from in...ventory sticker on bottom case, probably can be removed with solvent.
