Original Description:
I'm selling my grandfather's 1979 Apple II Plus (serial # A2S2-155189), including many unique accessories:Working external fan and surge protector with 2 additional outlets (as photographed on the left side of the Apple)External floppy drive with 2 drives (the wooden box photographed on the right of the Apple). The drive starts but only the top red light illuminates (as photographed). I'm unsure if the bottom drive is functional or if the bulb is just out. This connects to the Apple vi...a a Lobo Drives board - please note the drive appears to be homemade.1983 Apple mouse interface board (670-0030-C). Novation communications expansion module (PN490403), including external inputs for a mic handset, online remote, AC control, phone line, and video monitor outputElite Software Company (ESC) board with a wired, red button (I'm actually unsure what this does, but there's writing on the board which reads "ESC 001 ISS 2")Epson APL Board1981 DDP Research & Marketing ram card (RAMEX 16 ISS2)M&R Enterprises TV terminal 60 DB isolation switchNotably, there are 3 very nearly mint condition games included:Strategic Solutions Inc. (SSI) "Southern Command, " billed as "a computer strategy game of the Israeli counterattack to cross the Suez Canal during the October War of 1973". The original box is in nearly mint condition, as well as the rule book, command key instructions, game map, and floppy disc. Other documents include the original SSI customer response card, Spring 1982 catalog, and updates and new editions games catalog.Strategic Solutions Inc. (SSI) "Computer Ambush, " billed as "a computer simulation game of man-to-man combat in World War II". The original box is in remarkably good condition, as well as the "rule book and soldier dossiers" book, 2 sets of the laminated game map/command key instructions/map key sheet, 2 sets of the squad card/order summary chart, and floppy disc. Other items include the original notice card warning the user of needing to initialize the disc prior to use, the original SSI customer response card, and a temporary pencil to mark the laminated game card.Strategic Solutions Inc. (SSI) "Operation Apocalypse, " billed as "four computer simulation games of major WWII land operations". The original box is in remarkably good condition, as well as the rule book, 2 sets of the laminated game map/record chart/unit modes/command key instructions sheet, game selection card, and floppy disc. Other items include the original SSI customer response card, and an SSI note with instructions on starting and saving the game on the disc.I'm also including an issue of "Computer Gaming World" Volume 3, No. 3 (May - June 1983) magazine and a Microcomputer Games "Wargames" advertisement. These are in very good condition and shown in the main photo (brown cover and white/blue cover)Please note:Upon starting the Apple, the external fan and power light is operational, the Apple "beeps, " and the external drive whirs to life but only the top drive light illuminates red - the bottom drive light does not illuminate. The "Power" light on the Apple keyboard does not illuminate but I suspect the bulb is out, as the machine would not beep and the external drive would not power if the machine was totally dead. The "I" key on the Apple keyboard is loose (as photographed) but will be included. A steady hand should be able to glue it back on.There is no mouse included (the item that may look like a mouse in the photos is the back of the TV terminal isolation switch). There is no monitor included.Unfortunately, I am unable to determine if everything listed is operational. I do not have a monitor or other accessories to verify if everything works, and have never actually operated the computer myself as it's my grandfather's and been stored away for several years. I will be selling everything as-is with no returns. Please message me if you're interested but would need me to help verify what's operational and what isn't - I also have extra photos and video of all items. I'm willing to work with you as I'd like a good price for this unique package.Free shipping
