For auction is a Commodore Amiga 3000 desktop computer with an original A3000 keyboard (made in Malaysia) and a tank mouse in working condition. The monitor is *not* included and was only used for demonstration. Due to the age the computer, keyboard and mouse are sold as-is.
The unit is in good working order as you can tell from the pictures. I've typed every key to make sure that the keyboard is working in its entirety. The mouse works, but the buttons need to be pressed hard to re...gister. The keyboard has some yellowing, some keys are worn off, but the typing experience is great. Big box Amigas had pretty nice keyboards. It's no surprise the keyboards sell for high prices just by themselves, so don't miss the opportunity to get an A3000 together with a keyboard ! The case has some rust, which I have included in the pictures. Both keyboard and case have a few marks here and there.
I should point out that the computer does not report any Fast RAM, only Chip RAM, so the Fast RAM was either taken out or one of more of the RAM chips have an issue, depending on what your needs are you might want to plan to purchase RAM chips from somewhere.There are 2 (!) hard drives in the computer (as pictured) a Quantum LS105S (100 MB I think) and a Fujitsu M2684S-512 (520MB). As you might know the A3000 has SCSI drives, which are a bit more expensive.
The previous owner took the battery out way before it had any chance to leak as you can see, the battery area on the motherboard is clean.
These machines are heavy, so the buyer will have to pay the shipping costs (the shipping fee below is just an estimate so you don't get surprised), and I will add plenty of padding to make sure it will be transported as safely as possible. There will be plenty of peanuts and bubble wrap in the package.
I restricted shipping to North America, if you are overseas please contact me in advance. Due to the current pandemic I prefer shipping over local pickup. It's to keep both of us safe.
