Appears to work but selling as-is for parts or repair only as I do not have a compatible monitor for proper testing.
Acquired from the original owner! Includes:
5 1/4” floppy drive Seagate ST 412 hard drive 10mbIBM asynchronous communications adapter cardIBM 5.25” diameter drive adapter cardIBM hard disk drive controller cardIBM monochrome display and printer adapter (MDA)AST six pak plus fully populated with ram512kb RAM on motherboard (expandable to 640kb)Original 62x0663 ...power cordA cable with a 9 pin female connector on one end and a 25 pin male on the other with only 10 pins present. A cable with a 25 pin male connector on one end and a 36p male connector on the otherA single 5 1/4” floppy disk, DS DD, with “mail call” written on it.
I powered this on, likely for the first time in many years. Got two beeps about 45 seconds later. It felt like the hard drive was spinning. No light on the hard drive that I saw. The floppy light came on during boot. The power supply fan runs. The computer seemed to run unremarkably for a few minutes before I shut it down.
The case has a couple of stains on it. I cleaned them with naphtha and they’re much less noticeable and you can’t feel them. I did not attempt any more cleaning other than some superficial dusting.
