On offer is this decorative, antique Moore Bros 'Chinoiserie' tea cup and saucer set.Hand enamelled colour to the black transfer print outline - the cup is decorated on the interior with the same scene as the saucer. The exterior of the cup has the tree/plant motifs. Gilt dot and trims. Pattern reference 2469.Marked with the Moore mark of 1902 to 1905 - see: http://www.thepotteries.org/mark/m/moorebros.html
Tea cup stands 4.4cm tall at the rim, opening di...ameter 10.6cm. Saucer measures 13.8cm in diameter.The saucer is in good condition and 'pings' when flicked, however there is a hair line crack in the cup to the left of the tree (~4th dot to the left of the tree trunk) and therefore is decorative only. Would make a lovely cabinet display set. Please consider photos.
