Highlights:Vintage, Sterling silver and cobalt blue leaf brooch by Olav Fridtjof Hjortdahl (1887-1954) of Oslo NorwayOn the back is stamped with Hjortdahl's makers mark, 925S, STERLING and NORWAYExact age is unknown; research indicates he lived from 1887-1954 and that his shop was in operation from 1911-1970. The clasp is "old school" and has a mid-century modern look to it, so my best guess is that this piece was made in the 1950s.In excellent pre-owned condition with no obvious... issues. The enamel is perfectly intact. The pin and C-shaped catch works perfectly.
