Great Sounding Gibson banjo with cast archtop Mastertone tone ring and double bound resonator. This tenor banjo has all original parts except strings and head. It still has the original Grover Patent Presto tailpiece and nickel plated brass E2 tension hoop which are commonly removed to sell or to use on other banjos. It has a nickel plated 2 piece brass armrest that looks like it has been re-soldered in the same place where it was originally soldered. See photo. Tenor neck has diamonds... and squares inlays and original Grover pancake tuners. Has the original Mastertone label inside the rim in great shape. Has the serial number engraved in the inside rim and matching numbers on the resonator which proves it is not a copy or assembled from old parts. Has scratches and dings as seen in the photos. Also has about a 2 inch piece of neck binding missing against the pot. Comes in a TKL hard shell case.
