This is an absolutely Wonderful Antique Carved Wood Primitive Folk Art Doll! She is 12 1/2” tall and has delicate hand carved arms and legs. Her head and shoulders are also wood but are either painted or covered with a thin layer of material that was then painted over.She is jointed at her shoulders and hips. She has a soft cloth body that is likely filled with sawdust.Her facials features and hair are all hand painted with nice detail. Her blue striped dress has faded on the front s...ide.One foot looks like the very tip is missing, also may be chew marks on both, not sure.I believe she is from the later 1800’s perhaps Civil War era.She does have some face scuffs, but she is still just lovely!A very rare little doll, she sure needs a new home!Thanks for visiting!
